Our Vision

Health is a human right.

At Zosseo Overland Support we are lead by the belief that all people have the right to a healthy body. Inherent truths like these drive us to do what we do. While our main focus is easing dental pain, we also provide preventative care supplies, optical care and supplies, and most recently, eco-friendly, reusable menstrual supplies. On top of the mission to provide medical care, we support local Kenyan schools and orphanages through education materials, clothes and shoes, as well as preventative care lectures.

As human beings, we all have a fundamental right to life and health, as outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This means that access to healthcare is not a privilege or luxury but a basic human right. Providing healthcare is also essential for achieving social justice and reducing health disparities. Without access to healthcare, individuals may suffer from preventable illnesses, disabilities, or even death, leading to an unequal distribution of health outcomes across different populations.

Furthermore, providing healthcare is also necessary for promoting economic growth and development. Healthy individuals are more productive and can contribute to the growth of their communities and countries. By investing in healthcare, we can create a healthier workforce, reduce absenteeism, and increase productivity, leading to economic benefits and sustainable development.

While we cannot be in Kenya year round for the time being, we can still trigger the beginnings of a preventative care education revolution in the villages we are involved with. Ideally, patients will take this education to heart and teach their children, who will teach their children and so on. Generational health education is the key to creating healthful communities in the long run.
